Supply, Delivery and offloading of 110VDC Battery Chargers for Umhlathuze municipality x2

The City of UMhlathuze is looking for a suitable service provider to supply and deliver two 110VDC battery chargers. It is also required that upon submission of the RFQ, a service provider will be required to state the following:

Methodology of execution including:

• Supply of 2 x 110VDC battery chargers with battery housing designed to hold 85 Nickel
• Cadmium (Ni-Cd) cells.
• Supply 85 Ni-Cd cells along with the charger.
• Input Voltage should be 110/230VAC, Output Voltage 110VDC, Output Current 3 to 25A.
• Supply mild steel battery cabinet.
• Supply of standard general arrangement and schematic diagrams showing dimensions.
• Supply of standard technical data booklets.
• Delivery of goods at uMhlathuze Stores.
• The charger must have Volt Meters, Amp meter, indicators, main supply breaker, standby
• supply breaker and load breaker.
• Supplier to specify period of delivery.
• The quotation must include the pictures of the proposed battery charger with batteries. All
• the above requirements must be clearly stipulated on the list of quotation.
• Financial proposal should be enclosed in the same envelop with technical proposal.
• Service provider shall produce Testing and Calibration Certificates.
• Service provider to specify Warranties or Guaranties

32VDC Battery Chargers Quotation - Umhlathuze Municipality

The City of UMhlathuze is looking for a suitable service provider to supply and deliver three 32VDC
battery chargers. It is also required that upon submission of the RFQ, a service provider will be
required to state the following:

• Methodology of execution including:
• Supply of 3 x 32VDC battery chargers with battery housing designed to hold 25 Nickel
• Cadmium (Ni-Cd) cells.
• Supply 25 Ni-Cd cells along with the charger.
• Input Voltage should be 110/230VAC, Output Voltage 32VDC, Output Current 5 to 25A.
• Supply mild steel battery cabinet.
• Supply of standard general arrangement and schematic diagrams showing dimensions.
• Supply of standard technical data booklets.

32VDC Battery Charger Delivery Address

Delivery of goods at uMhlathuze Stores.
Supply, deliver and offloading at uMhlathuze Municipality at Richards bay, Alton, 65
Allumina Allee.

Supplier to specify period of delivery.
Operation training - Train the user.
The quotation must include the pictures of the proposed battery charger with batteries. All
the above requirements must be clearly stipulated on the list of quotation.

Supply & Delivery (32VDC Battery Chargers)

Service Provider will on load the equipment from the manufacture
site and off load it at CoU stores, on designated site or electrical
workshop as per arrangement with the project manager.

Equipment will remain the responsibility of the service provider
from the manufacture to CoU on transportation, handling e.c.t.
